I've found that children thrive in shorter, more focused sessions. That's why I specialize in mini sessions- because I believe 20 minutes is the perfect amount of time to capture genuine smiles, playful giggles, and those unforgettable family moments without overwhelming your little ones.
These sessions take place at various beautiful spots around Dubuque, offering the perfect backdrop to showcase your families unique connection. Whether we meet in a lush park, a gorgeous studio, or a peaceful open field, every location helps tell your story in a meaningful way, no matter the season.
Designed to fit seamlessly into your schedule, these quick but intentional sessions will leave you with timeless images you'll treasure for years. I'd be honored to capture this season of your families life with joyful, meaningful photos.

This year I am hosting various mini-sessions (dates will be crossed out as they are booked out)
Details of the minis:
- Cost: $200 - $300 (depending on location - may require additional permit)
- 10 images
- 15 minutes
- Delivered within 3 weeks of session on an online gallery where client can determine which pictures they want or there will be a full gallery option as well.
- In order to reserve a spot, client must sign the contract + pay for the mini-session in full to reserve the session.
- MOST sessions may come with a rain backup date which I will communicate on in the contract!
- this is NOT for an extended family session/this is NOT for a newborn session

FAQ
How many people are allowed at Mini-Sessions?
Mini sessions are designed specifically for one family unit. Please refrain from using these sessions for extended family groups to keep things fair and enjoyable for everyone.
What should we wear for our mini-session?
I'll send you a family style guide with outfit inspiration to help coordinate your looks.
What happens if it rains on our session day?
If it rains, there is usually a rain date that is a backup date! If it's a studio session, there is no rain backup date.
How long will the mini-session last?
10-15 minutes. I try to make these mini sessions really fast in order to hold your little one's attention & to still provide timeless family photos.
